  8. You do have some big flocks there. We do not have such large ones here but maybe 100 to 200 birds land in the grass in the winter to peck at something. I assume there must be something of value.

  9. What a coincidence! The sound must be incredible when they finally come down to roost. That's one of my abiding memories from counting them in Mallorca.
