Dont ebay your fish- display them with pride. I think there is something quite beautiful about the idea of making fish out of glass, i'm sure there is a metaphor in there somewhere.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08577641788742285017noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-876862148358784705.post-9003162973224492812012-02-12T10:25:58.791+00:002012-02-12T10:25:58.791+00:00Mark, off topic. Written by David Whitely (grumpytraveller). Might be useful for discussions in October, though I'm not suggesting that any of us rush out and have our blogs filled with ads.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-876862148358784705.post-28239056704381884442012-02-11T15:01:38.389+00:002012-02-11T15:01:38.389+00:00This is a moving post Mark. We can recall our own grandparents with, no doubt, similar cocktail cabinets with their gaudy contents. As children one just remembers everything glistening as the gilt decorations caught the light.

It is seldom things that cost a lot in monetary terms that are the most valuable and your 'still life with fish' looks so wonderfully intriguing.
